I can't seem to get random to cooperate and make it pretty - comment no. 19 Kim S., you have won The Girl Who Played with Fire. Congratulations!!
I will say this book is even better than the first - there is more Lisbeth and she proves herself a worthy protagonist. You don't need to have read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to enjoy this book, but it does help to fill out some of the characters who return in this sequel. As I've mentioned, these are difficult books to recommend because some of the content is beyond disturbing. If you are able to tough it out, you will be rewarded with intelligent stories that are unique in the mystery/thriller genre.
