...this mama got a Kindle for Mother's Day and it took me all of 5 minutes to figure out how to use it and start reading. It really is a seeing is believing kind of thing...the non-glare factor, quick downloads, and light weight are all good. The only part that will take some getting used to - there are no page numbers and while it keeps track of what percent of the book you have finished, you have no sense of where you are in the story. When you hold a book you can feel your place, you can tell how much is left. While the tactility isn't necessary, it is an adjustment from paper to screen. So, just in case you are curious...it's totally worth it. But I'm not giving up paper altogether - I still have plenty in my TBR and library piles. I need to finish my bookclub selection for tonight, but I can't put the Kindle down. I know, hard to believe.
